The home has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and features vaulted ceilings, rock fireplace, extra family room downstairs, spacious kitchen and can accommodate up to 11 guests.   The vacation rental is centrally located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City and is close to skiing (10 miles to Northstar, 14 miles to Alpine Meadows, and 16 miles to Squaw Valley).

SnowFest in March

Every spring since 1982, North Lake Tahoe comes alive with ten fun-filled days and nights, jam packed with events and activities for all ages. This year, the annual favorites will be back, along with a host of great new ones! This year SnowFest runs from March 1-11, 2012.

Ski Free on Arrival Date at Squaw Valley

Skiers and snowboarders coming off the airplane can ski or ride the afternoon and evening for free at Squaw Valley! Guests can present a same-day commercial airline boarding pass with a matching photo ID at Squaw Valley’s Season Passes & Tickets office and receive a complimentary lift ticket good for the rest of the afternoon as well as night skiing, when night operations are in effect.

These complimentary afternoon lift tickets are valid from 1pm until 9pm on Fridays & Saturdays or from 1pm until 7pm mid-week while night operations are in effect. This new program means that guests from across the nation can have breakfast in the airport of their origination city and enjoy lunch, or even dinner on the slopes of Squaw Valley.

To be eligible for a complimentary afternoon ticket, guests must present a proof of same-day air travel at Squaw Valley’s Season Pass Office or the Special Tickets Office. One ticket per proof of travel. Proof of travel is defined as a boarding pass, printed itinerary or baggage claim check. Document of proof must contain the day’s travel date, flight number and traveler’s full name. Matching photo ID must be presented.

This deal is valid until the end of the 2011-12 winter season and there are no blackout dates. While The Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the closest commercial air service to Squaw Valley, any commercial airport qualifies for the deal. Lift ticket only valid on same day as airline travel, weather and conditions permitting.

Pro Ski Patrol Race and Taco Feed

As part of SnowFest, this Tuesday, March 8th Ski Patrol teams from as far as Kirkwood race against rival mountains for the fastest ski patroler title at Homewood Ski Area. Spectators can enjoy delicious tacos as they watch this fantastic show on the mountain and enjoy other SnowFest activities this week!

January Vacation Rental Savings
