45 Days Until the Amgen Tour of California in Tahoe

In 45 days (May 15th and 16th), Tahoe will be hosting the first two stages in the largest cycling event in America, the 2011 Amgen Tour of California. Presented by AEG, that challenges the world’s top professional cycling teams to compete along a demanding course.

The first and second stages of the tour this year will be on May 15 and 16. The first stage will start in south Lake Tahoe, do one and a half loops around the lake, and finish at Northstar-at-Tahoe. The next day, the second stage, will start at Squaw Valley and finish in Auburn. There will be plenty of events during this events
